Monthly Drive - Moyse BBQ
Join us for a late summer day trip! Meet at the Shell Gas station, 1016 McCallum Rd. (using Exit 15 off the Trans Canada Highway) at 12:40pm. We will then head to the Kinsol Trestle near Shawnigan Lake, one of the tallest free-standing trestles in the world. It is a 0.5km walk from the parking lot. We will then head to Highfields, the home of Geoff and Donna Moyse, 4249 Telegraph Road in Cowichan Bay. A three-piece band will be providing musical entertainment. Bring something to cook on the BBQ, a salad or other side dish to share along with something to drink, plus plates and cutlery. Remember your lawn chair(s) and hats!
Those wanting to meet at the barbecue, festivities start at 2:30pm and you are welcome to head straight there. For those wishing to take the Mill Bay ferry home, it leaves at 4:10, 5:20 and 6:30pm. If you plan to participate, please confirm with Chris at
